Full Time Freedom Week Announcement

But first…what are we up to?

Just a few more weeks before we pack up and hit the road, this time heading southbound to Tennessee for the winter working as installers for Christmas Decor.  Our workamping experiences in Minnesota have been unique in that Levi and I have worked with separate businesses in new positions.

We’ll be sure to write up reviews about our jobs, but just a little summary…Levi spent a good 5 months working as a job site manager with a company that cleans up waterfront property for residents around the Twin Cities. He also spent the first month of the season certifying almost 20 of the new employees in Open Water Scuba Diving.  Between classroom sessions, hauling 50+ lb bags of weeds and debris, and long 12 hour days, he is very much done for the season and ready for a break.

I landed a job at a KOA just southwest of Minneapolis.  I was elated when the owner told me I’d be able to work outside as opposed to the front desk/office.  This meant I learned to operate a lot of equipment including the tractor and honey wagon.  I also cleaned bathrooms, cabins, campsites, escorted folks to their sites, delivered wood, did a little troubleshooting, and ran the activities on weekends.   Yes, pretty much everything…but the front desk.  I was just happy to do something other than what I am typically assigned to do at campgrounds…answer phones, take reservations, and check campers in…even if it meant operating the honey wagon.

And now, back to the point of the article…

About a month ago, we were approached by one of the creators of Full Time Freedom Week, Julie Chickery of Chickery’s Travels, and asked if we’d be open to presenting on our workamping experiences.  With different work schedules, we weren’t sure if we’d be able to find time together to create a video, but somehow it happened.

If you don’t know, Full Time Freedom Week is an online convention and it centers around full time RVing, how to get started, how to make money on the road, fun places to camp, RV tips, addressing fears and concerns about RVing…you name it.  Levi refers to this 4-day virtual event as an encyclopedia for the RV lifestyle.  It’s something we wish was available when we were first researching  the lifestyle about 8 years ago.

We were scouring through books, RV blogs, and forums trying to find the answers to all of our concerns and questions before taking the plunge and hitting the road 3 years later (we’ve been on the road for 5 years now). There were full time RV conventions we could have attended but we would’ve had to travel to these events, book a flight and room, and just could not take off the days from work to attend.

Instead, Full Time Freedom Week brings the seminars and classes to you, the interested traveler and even current full time RVer (this is for everyone!) .  The online convention takes place November 5-8, 2019 and it’s FREE during this time frame!!  Everything you need to know about traveling and living in your RV, presented by veteran full time RVers, 30+ RV experts to be more specific!  You can access your FREE PASS here!!

Having said that, let’s be real.  Our lives can be hectic and viewing these back to back RV related presentations may be overwhelming and/or not be feasible with your schedule.  Don’t despair.  We’ve got you covered.  You can have access to all of the quality and comprehensive material Full Time Freedom Week has to offer by choosing from a list of timeline options.  These options range from a month to forever.  Yup, you can view and review presentations at your leisure for a long as forever….that’s a long time.  You can view these extended options by clicking the photo.

In conclusion…

If you are interested in learning more about the RV lifestyle, in the planning stages, or already on the road, we hope you will consider attending Full Time Freedom Week from the comfort of your computer screen!  Full Time Freedom Week takes the guesswork and research off your hands because 30+ experts in the field have been there and done that for you!  Our seminar alone focuses on staying employed throughout the year with seasonal jobs.  If you just want to see us, we are slotted for Friday, November 8 at 6PM EST.
