The Hidden (and Cheesy) Beauty of Ruby Falls

Workamping near, sightseeing around, or passing through Chattanooga, Tennessee? Make sure to visit “the nation’s tallest and deepest underground waterfall,” Ruby Falls. This rare sight is located within Lookout Mountain and accessible via a 45 second elevator ride and less than one mile hike. (For specifics on parking, scheduling, and accessibility, check out the FAQ page.)

We visited Ruby falls last year in January and took the “Classic Waterfall Tour.” Here’s a little snippet of our guided tour.

Just a note, we do not represent the establishment of Ruby Falls in any way. We are simply documenting our RV travels and note-worthy detours along our route.
