From Repairs to Remote Work: Catching Up With Our RV Lifestyle

Hey there, it’s been a while since we last posted on our website. Life got in the way, you know how it goes. But we’re back and ready to share some more of our adventures of full-time RV living with you all!

For those who don’t know us, we’re the crew from Henelys Happy Trails – two humans (Levi and Natalie), two cats, and one goofy black lab/German Shepherd mix named Leo. We’re still cruising around in our trusty 26-foot Itasca Sunstar, seeing the sights and living our best lives.

What We’ve Been Up To

First off, let’s catch up on what we’ve been up to. We’ve faced our share of challenges over the past couple of years of full-time RV living. We’ve had to navigate RV repairs and maintenance, find ways to stay connected on the road, and most recently, made the transition from traditional jobs to remote work.

Adapting to remote work was tougher than we expected, but we’ve learned a lot along the way. We’ve discovered that having a reliable internet connection is key, and we’ve become pros at creating designated workspaces in our RV. We’ve also had to work on finding the right balance between work and play.

But despite the challenges, we’re still having a blast living the RV lifestyle. We’ve explored some amazing new destinations, met some incredible people, and of course, made plenty of memories along the way.

So, what can you expect from our upcoming posts? Well, we’ll be sharing stories from the road, along with some tips and tricks we’ve learned on the journey.

Stay Tuned for Full-Time RV Living With Henley’s Happy Trails

    O my, you are back.
    Wwwwaaahhhoooo
Look forward to a review of your internet setup.
We are not full timers, but are planning on spending al lot more time exploring.
We want a good internet setup to stay in touch with family and friends.
I am leaning toward a satellite setup.
Because we camp some in SE MO, and there isn’t cell service is a lot of areas.
    Welcome back.

We have had great success with a cellular setup from Mobile Must Have. However, if you are going to be in locations with zero cell service and an unobstructed view of the sky, Starlink will probably be a good choice.

  2. We have missed hearing from y’all. Look forward to your posts and adventures. They are very interesting.

I absolutely loved your book on workamping. We are fulltimers since 2015, retired and getting ready to head to Utah to spend the summer workamping and riding our side by side.

Looking forward to reading more about your updates.
