Avoid RV Mishaps with RVminders

We could write a book on things we’ve forgotten or nearly forgot to check before driving our motorhome and tow vehicle out of a campsite and back on the road. For instance, we’ve left windows and vents ajar, cabinets open, our antenna up, and basement compartments unlatched. We’ve left campsites, forgetting to pack away a water regulator and hoses. Plus, we nearly drove off with the motorhome still plugged into the electric pedestal another time.

Albeit routine, these RV departure tasks can easily be missed if you get distracted or aren’t diligently checking off your to-do list. We recently came across an advertisement for the nifty product RVminders upon reading an RV-related article and thought it might solve our departure dilemmas.

What are RVminders?

RVminders are essentially bright, colorful slap wristbands that securely and prominently wrap around your steering wheel. Each slap band label calls attention to a typical task that must be completed before safely traveling down the road.

There are a total of 10 RVminders in a packaged set, 2 of which are blank so RVers can customize specific tasks related to their particular rig. The other reminders include:

We reached out to the company and were sent a set to try out and review. We’ve had RVminders for almost a month now and have used them on a number of occasions, as we are currently traveling around the West, representing Jackery at various conventions and expos.

Our frequent stop and go routine has made having RVminders essential. Before preparing to leave an RV campground site or dry camping location, we make sure to slap on the relevant bands and get to work with departure tasks. We aren’t completely set and ready to go until every reminder has been removed from the steering wheel.

How To Get Your Own Set

We store our RVminders overhead in the visor as they don’t take much space and head on our merry way. At less than $20 on Amazon, this product is a lifesaver for seasonal and full-time RVers. Avoid mishaps and expenses with RVminders.
