Christmas Decor 2019 Workamper Update

Take note that Levi and I are in no way affiliated with or representing Christmas Decor franchise.  We are simply detailing our workamping experience for those interested.

We are once again ringing in the holidays in Tennessee. This year, however, instead of working at the pumpkin patch and Christmas tree lot in Memphis, we decided to complete a full season as decorators with Christmas Decor in Knoxville. We are busy decorating resident and business fronts with roof lights, tree lights, garland, wreaths, all kinds of festive fun!

We arrived mid-October and have pretty much hit the ground running, working six days a week and clocking in an average of 10 hours a day. The long days leave us pretty tired at the end of each shift so we have not had the energy to keep up with our weekly newsletter the last couple of weeks. We do apologize to our subscribers on this and will attempt to get one out soon!

The boss man has told us that there are 3 weeks remaining before we end the set up portion of the work season. We’ll have a couple weeks off to relax, celebrate the holidays, and do whatever it is we need to do before the “take down” portion which begins in January. Last season we worked the take down portion only. You can read about our experience and view our video here.

For now, we wanted to give you a little snippet on one aspect of our decorating. If you follow us on Facebook, Instagram, or Reddit, you have probably seen some of our on the job pictures we’ve posted. If not, that’s OK, we will be recapping our workamping experience with the “set up” portion of Christmas Decor right here on our website! Stay tuned!

But in the meantime, enjoy our little video on The Making of a Christmas Tree with Christmas Decor!
